In a career-best performance, which lasts only about 10 mins., Alec Baldwin reminds every current/former salesperson of the heartache of working in a high-pressure sales job. Written by Pulitzer Prize-winning scribe David Mamet and featuring one of the most star-studded casts (feat. Kevin Spacey, Al Pacino, Jack Lemmon, Ed Harris, and Alan Arkin) ever assembled on screen, Glengarry Glen Ross, with its sharp, witty dialogue, certainly packs the punches. Targets, shitty sales leads, a morose atmosphere amongst staff, and the heartless manipulation of unsuspecting clients/victims make for a gloomy yet captivating film. A must-watch!
