Illustrator John Holcroft Tackles Modern Society And The Harsh Truths Thereof

In the following, English-based illustrator John Holcroft portrays, in stark, miserable fashion, what he believes to be the issues engulfing today’s society, including those of obesity, gender inequality, consumerism, capitalism, and parental manipulation. Holcroft’s style is that of the emulation of screen printing, much like the poster advertisements of the 1950s, using bold, vivid imagery to highlight what he sees as disconcerting truths which, in his opinion, need to be addressed.

John Holcroft’s illustrations have seen him work with some of the leading publications, such as The New York Times, Reader’s Digest, and The Economist, to name but a few.
