George Carlin Chips In With His Opinion On Advertising And All-American Bullsh*t

(Warning: Very strong language)

In the following 5-minute clip, taken from HBO’s live stand-up special entitled You Are All Diseased, late comedian and social critic George Carlin shares his opinion on advertising, consumerism, and the American “manufacture, packaging, distribution and marketing of bullsh*t — high-quality, grade A, prime-cut, pure American bullsh*t”.

Never one to equivocate during an illustrious, albeit controversial, career which spanned over 50 years, George Carlin was renowned for his unrelenting, scathing attacks on politics, religion and society. In June 2008, Carlin died of heart failure at the age of 71.
