Artist Eyal Gever Uses 3D Printing To Capture Spectacular Moments Of Fluidity And Collision

Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, Eyal Gever is a cutting-edge contemporary artist who uses code and three-dimensional printing to fuse art and technology, the result of which is a sculpture depicting a fluid motion which has been frozen in time. Having spent a number of hours using self-designed 3D animation software to recreate a plethora of different extreme events, from spills to crashes, explosions to natural disasters, Gever uses modern technology to produce moments in time which are “often dramatic or catastrophic in nature”.

In his time, Eyal Gever has captured the surface of the ocean in undulating fashion, a nuclear blast, a spherical balloon mid-explosion, and the effects of a waterfall hitting the ground.
