In the following 2-minute clip, taken from a 1982 episode of The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, legendary film and theatre actor Walter Matthau — whose credits include The Odd Couple (1968), Charade (1963) and Grumpy Old Men (1993) — shares a humorous anecdote with host Johnny Carson about a hospital patient with whom he shared a room while undergoing a procedure on his eyes. The anecdote describes said patient’s desire to have a somewhat unusual, “customised” breakfast.
