Brandon McConnell’s 1-Minute Spray Painting

In the following clip, Brandon McConnell, a prominent street artist from San Diego, California, who hones his craft while conducting live demonstrations of his work in public, shows his superlative spray-painting talents by producing a work of art — an art form to which he refers as space painting — within one minute.

McConnell, 40, decided upon his style after visiting Tijuana, Mexico, in 1999 and being inspired by an artist making what he described as beautiful paintings with spray paint. He was instantly amazed by the vibrant colours and the speed at which the man could produce a piece of art. Videos of his talents have now been viewed millions of times, and McConnell was even hired for a spray paint performance at the Kennedy Space Center.
